Is Volluma Washable?

Like most cosmetics, Volluma, when rubbed, can transfer onto fabrics. The good news is that Volluma can be removed with normal washing, although we do recommend the use of darker colored pillow cases and to protect clothing and exposed surfaces during application.

Can I use Volluma after a hair transplant?

Yes, Volluma was developed by hair transplant surgeons to improve the visible result of hair replacement surgery. It has been tried, tested and proven to be effective for use on thinning hair and hair transplants. It is important that the scalp be completely healed first.

Does Volluma work on short hair?

Yes. Volluma is best on hair longer than 1" (25 mm). It is not for use on bare skin as the microfibers need to attach to hair on the scalp.

Can I use Volluma in combination with other hair products?

Yes, other styling products such as waxes and gels can be applied after Volluma is completely dry. A non-silicone based hairspray is required to finish the application prior to additional styling products.

Can I use Volluma in combination with other re-growth products?

Yes, Volluma was developed by hair transplant surgeons to work with re-growth products such as minoxidil and others.
